Christmas rose. Winter hardy and evergreen perennial for shady places with nodding white flowers sometime with slightly pinkish tints. It can be grown as beautiful pot plants with dark green divide leaves and flowers for spring sales. Helleborus is a cold germinator. Germination can be erratic and will take some time. The best results will be obtained when fresh seeds are sown in autumn. Every year we supply fresh seeds for sowing in late October or early November.
