History:
Van Hemert & Co. has been founded in 1876 as seed merchants and breeding company. In the early days vegetable seeds for local growers were the majority of our business. Gradually we specialized in seeds in pictorial packets for retail outlets throughout the Netherlands. In 1996 new management took over the company. The production of seeds and the breeding of new ornamental varieties has been started then for our own range of pictorial packets and professional growers and nurseries, but also for other seed companies. In spite of our age we are always searching with a youthful enthusiasm for fascinating new varieties of flowers and other ornamental plants for the amateur gardeners and professional growers alike.

Flower seeds wholesale:
On this website you find our range of flower seeds and seeds of other ornamental plants such as Cucurbitaceae; for wholesale only. All seeds are grown under our control and from our own selected stock seeds. We added a couple of new varieties and species from our own breeding and selection and our first Fleuroselect novelties. These new introductions can also be to your advantage. Pictures are available for illustration of our varieties on your packets, catalogues etc. Prices and complete terms of sale are available on request. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or comments you may have about our range of seeds.

Pictorial packets:
When you are interested in pictorial packets for reselling please contact us and we will send you all the details. Our range of more than 650 varieties in attractive packets offers you a great opportunity to differentiate yourselves from your competition. We only sell our pictorial packets through retail outlets as garden centres, seed shops etc. We do not sell direct to consumers and we do not have a web shop nor mail order service.
