Soapwort, Seifenkraut, Saponaire. Saponaria is a durable perennial plant in the garden that long ago was used for making soap. We introduce two first-year-flowering varieties that perform very well as floriferous ornamental even in tough environmental conditions. The plants are fast growing with dark green foliage and give a wonderful display of numerous single flowers and a pleasant fragrance in summer. Can be produced as annual container plants and is well-suited for large borders and landscapes.
