Silver Moon is an annual vine that produces nice white flowers on long erect spikes. It is known as Hyacinth bean or lablab bean and it is cultivated for food. The green pods and fresh beans are toxic but can be eaten when boiled very well with multiple changes of the water. Silver Moon is however an excellent garden plant and fast growing ornamental climber for covering walls and trellis with green leaves above which the flower spikes emerge.
